Dr. OZ Suggests Delaying Gardasil Vaccination; CBCD Agrees
Doctor and television personality, Dr. Oz, recently appeared on HuffPost Live, to discuss the Gardasil HPV vaccine.
The Center for the Biology of Chronic Disease (CBCD) has just learned that Doctor and television personality Dr. Oz, recently dropped by HuffPost Live, to discuss the Gardasil HPV vaccine.
During the interview, Dr. OZ made the case that because Gardasil’s efficacy wears off after five years, it might make sense to delay vaccination until a boy or girl is fourteen years old or older.
“My sense after having done the show, is that I don’t feel that urge to push for an 11 or 12 year old kid to have the vaccine … normally I would’ve been much more supportive of an 11 year old child getting the vaccine, until I heard from Dr. Harper that it wears off after 5 to 6 years. So, since the peak time of intercourse is a little bit later, maybe you want to stall the decision about a vaccine until, let’s say, 14 years of age.” – Dr. OZ
Although the CBCD understands that many parents are concerned that being vaccinated against an HPV infection is important and should be done as soon as possible, the Center agrees with Dr. OZ.
The CBCD highlights the fact that there are other, more serious concerns parents should be worrying about when it comes to HPV vaccination.
For instance, the CBCD simply does not believe that the available science backs up the efficacy claims made by Merck & Co., Inc., the FDA, or the CDC.
The HPV Vaccine is clearly the least effective method of protection when trying to guard the public against the virus that can cause some forms of cancer as well as genital warts … despite the claims made by the organizations mentioned above.
Merck & Co., Inc., the pharmaceutical giant, made Gardasil which is intended to help stop four strains of HPV – two responsible for cervical cancer and two that cause genital warts – while Cervarix, made by GSK, aims at only two strains.
The trouble the CBCD sees is that these HPV vaccines are extremely limited in the protection they claim to provide, yet there are 150 other types of HPVs, at least 15 of which can cause cancer, and neither Gardasil nor Cervarix provide protection against these other strains.
What’s more, Merck’s own studies demonstrate that the vaccine is only effective for 5 years. Thus, if your 11 year old daughter gets the vaccine, it will have stopped working by the time she is 16 … right when she is actually at the highest danger of acquiring an HPV infection.
Finally, the HPV vaccine doesn’t do a thing for those who have an HPV infection already. It won’t get rid of genital warts, and if someone is already experiencing abnormal cervical cells due to HPV … the vaccine simply does zilch for that person.
There are no approved treatments that actually kill the virus, and the CBCD finds this is striking.
Thus, a healthy immune system is a person’s best defense against HPV caused diseases.
The good news is that the U.S.’s CDC says, “In 90% of cases, the body’s immune system clears HPV naturally within two years.”
However, clearing the virus does not mean the virus leaves the body for good. It just means that your immune system is potent enough to prevent the virus from causing a disease. The virus itself recognizes this and establishes itself in one of the body’s organs in what scientists call a latent infection. When a virus is latent, it acts as if it is asleep. Non-scientists would say that it is dormant. A weakened immune system, however, allows the HPV virus to “wake up” and become active again.
That’s why the CBCD would like to point out an HPV remedy that boosts the immune system and helps target the latent HPV virus that causes genital warts and some kinds of cancer.
“The key to your health is to reduce the level of the chronic viruses in your body to harmless levels.” – Dr. Hanan Polansky
The name of that HPV remedy is Gene-Eden-VIR. This all natural, scientifically designed product helps your own body maintain low concentrations of the latent, (sleeping) Human Papillomavirus.
You may have questions about the efficacy, safety, and cost of Gene-Eden-VIR. These are great, easily answered questions.
Gene-Eden-VIR is highly effective against the latent Human Papillomavirus; each ingredient was chosen through a scientific approach. PolyDNA scientists scanned thousands of scientific and medical papers published in various medical and scientific journals around the world in order to identify the safest, most effective natural ingredients that target the latent (sleeping) HPV Virus.
Gene-Eden-VIR is safe. There are no reports of side effects, and it has been on the market for over three years. Each capsule contains a patented formula of five all natural ingredients including selenium, camellia sinesis extract, quercetin, cinnamomum extract, and licorice extract. In addition, each bottle is GMP Certified.
People can access these scientific papers on the ingredients of Gene-Eden-VIR on pubmed.gov.
Gene-Eden-VIR is sold online through the Gene-Eden website. Each bottle of Gene-Eden-VIR (a one month’s supply) costs $42.99. Moreover, ordering Gene-Eden-VIR is secure and confidential.
