According to a study published in the
journal, Antiviral Research entitled: "Inhibitory effect of cinnamaldehyde,
derived from Cinnamomi cortex, on the growth of influenza A/PR/8 virus in
vitro and in vivo," "We have investigated the inhibitory effect of
trans-cinnamaldehyde (CA), one of the principal constituents of essential oil
derived from Cinnamomi cortex, on the growth of influenza A/PR/8 virus in
vitro and in vivo ... CA inhibited viral protein synthesis at the
post-transcriptional level. In mice infected with the lung-adapted PR-8 virus,
inhalation (50mg/cage/day) and nasal inoculation (250 microg/mouse/day) of CA
significantly increased survival rates on the 8 days to 100% and 70%,
respectively, in contrast to a survival rate of 20% in the untreated control
group."
Why is this significant?
It's importance lies in the fact that
Influenza activity continues to increase in the United States and most of the
country is now experiencing high levels of influenza-like-illness (ILI),
according to the CDC's latest FluView report.
Influenza (the flu) is a contagious
respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses. It can cause mild to severe
illness, and at times can lead to death. Some people, such as older people,
young children, and people with certain health conditions, are at high risk
for serious flu complications.
polyDNA believes the study mentioned above
adds evidence to the antiviral, anti-Flu nature of cinnamon. In fact, because
of this study (and others) which show the natural, antiviral nature of
cinnamon, polyDNA included cinnamon as one of the ingredients in Gene-Eden-VIR, the
all-natural, antiviral remedy.
Gene-Eden-VIR is safe. To date,
no side effects have been reported by Gene-Eden's user. Each capsule contains
a patented formula of five all natural ingredients including selenium,
camellia sinesis extract, quercetin, cinnamomum extract, and licorice extract.
In addition, each bottle is GMP Certified.
Gene-Eden-VIR is designed to target
latent viruses; each ingredient was selected through a scientific approach.
polyDNA scientists scanned thousands of scientific and medical papers
published in various medical and scientific journals around the world in order
to identify safe and effective natural ingredients that target latent viruses.
These scientific papers on the ingredients
of Gene-Eden-VIR can be accessed on
pubmed.gov, and a select few can be found on the
Gene-Eden website.
Gene-Eden-VIR is sold exclusively online
through the Gene-Eden website. Each bottle of Gene-Eden-VIR (a one month's
supply) costs $42.99.
