The Center for the Biology of Chronic
Disease (CBCD), recently learned that there is a promising new approach to
fighting the oral herpes virus (HSV-1). According to a paper published in the
journal, PLoS One, entitled Tin Oxide Nanowires Suppress Herpes Simplex
Virus-1 Entry and Cell-to-Cell Membrane Fusion. "The advent of nanotechnology
has ushered in the use of modified nanoparticles as potential antiviral agents
against diseases such as herpes simplex virus 1 and 2 (HSV-1) (HSV-2)."
The paper goes on to say, "tin oxide
(SnO(2)) nanowires (can be) an effective treatment against HSV-1 infection.
SnO(2) nanowires work as a carrier of negatively charged structures that
compete with HSV-1 attachment to cell bound heparan sulfate (HS), therefore
inhibiting entry and subsequent cell-to-cell spread."
The CBCD watches the development of
antiviral nanotechnology with great interest, and agrees with the authors when
they state, "This new approach can be developed into a novel form of
broad-spectrum antiviral therapy, especially since HS has been shown to serve
as a cellular co-receptor for a number of other viruses as well, including the
respiratory syncytial virus, adeno-associated virus type 2, and human
papilloma virus."
Genital herpes is a sexually transmitted
disease (STD) caused by the herpes simplex viruses type 1 (HSV-1) or type 2
(HSV-2)
The CBCD would like to make clear, however,
that antiviral nanotechnology is still in its infancy, and until it is readily
available to the public, there remains no cure for any type of herpes
infection. This includes both oral as well as genital herpes.
After the first infection, the virus goes
to sleep (that is, becomes dormant) in the nerve tissues in the face. Sometimes, the
virus later "wakes up" (reactivates), causing a herpes outbreak. When symptoms
occur, they typically appear as one or more blisters on or around the
genitals, rectum or mouth. The blisters break and leave painful sores that may
take two to four weeks to heal.
As noted above, after an initial period of
activity where there can be up to 5 major outbreaks in a year, the herpes virus
establishes what scientists call a latent infection. When a virus is latent,
it acts as if it is asleep or dormant. When the immune system
weakens, however, the herpes virus can "wake up" and become active again.
The best defense against a latent herpes
infection is a healthy immune system.
That's why the CBCD would like to point out
a Herpes remedy that helps the immune system target the latent
herpes virus (HSV).
"The key to your health is to reduce the
level of the chronic viruses in your body to harmless levels." - Dr. Hanan
Polansky
The name of that antiviral remedy is
Gene-Eden-VIR. It is an all-natural product scientifically designed to help
the human body maintain low concentrations of the latent herpes
virus.
Gene-Eden-VIR is effective against
the latent, oral and genital herpes viruses. Each ingredient was chosen
through a scientific approach. Scientists scanned thousands of scientific and
medical papers published in various medical and scientific journals around the
world to identify the safest, most effective natural ingredients that target
the latent forms of both HSV-1 and HSV-2.
Gene-Eden-VIR is safe. It has been on the
market for over three years, and in that time, no side effects were reported.
Each capsule contains a patented formula of five all natural ingredients
including selenium, camellia sinesis extract, quercetin, cinnamomum extract,
and licorice extract. In addition, each bottle is GMP Certified.
Gene-Eden-VIR is sold online through the
Gene-Eden website. Each bottle of Gene-Eden-VIR (a one month's supply) costs
$42.99.
To learn more about Gene-Eden-VIR, the only
product on the market today that helps the body target the latent herpes virus,
and that is scientifically backed by published material, visit the
Gene-Eden-VIR website.
